If you would like to read some whining about how day care should be like health insurance, every employer hands it out, you can read a New York Times analysis about the terrible life of Googlers. Yes, these liberal whiners want their employers to subsidize their child care too. Wouldn’t you rather have the $12,000 per child per year to decide where you place your children instead of getting a subsidy? Google subsidizes $37,000 a year. I would rather have that in my paycheck than going to the crazy lady’s (Susan Wojcicki) pet project.
You get three choices: Fastest, Best, Cheapest… pick two. Googlers are figuring out this rule. The best child care is going to cost you, and as it turns out, your employer too!
