   Lets not forget in countries like ireland, that yes taxes are less, but almost all employees are unionized, and employee benefits are higher (more days off, better healthcare, etc).

   That’s a good point. Taxes are so high here, companies find unions and socialism less expensive. I think that speaks volumes.
